In Vietnam, she owns a restaurant that serves over 300 meals daily and manages a pagoda used for community outreach events.

Prof. Tan is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (Business Analytics) at Golden Gate University and holds multiple postgraduate qualifications, including a Master of Science in Computer Science (Distinction) and a Master of Research in Higher Education. Alongside academia, he serves as Managing Director and Lead Consultant of a Singapore-based firm, advising organizations on strategy and analytics.
