
GIU Awards Honorary Bachelor of Engineering to Mattia Nuti
Graham International University (GIU) is pleased to announce the conferral of the Honorary Bachelor of Engineering (Hon.Eng.B.) in Medical Technology Engineering upon Mr. Mattia Nuti, in recognition of his exceptional contributions to medical technology engineering, electrical safety, and global health innovation .
This honorary award acknowledges Mr. Nuti’s more than two decades of pioneering professional work across medical devices, pharmaceutical technologies, clinical and electrical engineering, and regulatory compliance. His career reflects the practical application of advanced engineering principles to address complex healthcare, safety, and industrial challenges worldwide.

Mr. Nuti is internationally recognized for his leadership in medical technology innovation, particularly in the design and development of patented air disinfection and sterilization systems integrated into HVAC infrastructures. Notably, his work on Vortex LED-Modules (VLED) and related air quality technologies played a critical role during the global pandemic, contributing to safer indoor environments and infection control. His patented solutions and entrepreneurial leadership have positioned his companies at the forefront of indoor air quality (IAQ) and medical technology advancement .
In addition to innovation, Mr. Nuti has demonstrated outstanding regulatory and academic impact. He is a certified Lead Auditor for ISO 13485 and ISO 9001, a European expert on Medical Device Regulation (EU MDR 2017/745), and one of a select group of experts within the European Photonics Cluster. His commitment to knowledge dissemination is evidenced by his mentorship of over 1,500 students and participation in more than 350 professional conferences globally .
