Doctor of Public Policy (DPP) in Discrimination, Crime, and Poverty Policy
Our Doctor of Public Policy (DPP) in Discrimination, Crime, and Poverty Policy equips students with the knowledge and skills to address complex societal issues related to inequality, justice, and poverty. The program explores the intersection of public policy, law, and social justice, focusing on how policies can mitigate the effects of discrimination, crime, and poverty. Students delve into key areas such as civil rights law, global justice, and feminist, gender, and sexuality studies, while critically assessing the ethical implications of public policy decisions. With a strong emphasis on public writing and communication, graduates are prepared to advocate for policies that promote equity and justice. Through rigorous research and dissertation work, students contribute valuable insights to the field of policy reform. Graduates are equipped to lead efforts in creating policies that combat discrimination, reduce crime, and address the root causes of poverty, driving social change and improving public welfare.
