Doctor of Laws (LLD) in Family Law
Our Doctor of Laws (LLD) in Family Law offers an in-depth examination of legal principles and practices governing family relationships, focusing on family dispute resolution, property and succession laws, and the complexities of penal laws related to family affairs. The program includes a thorough exploration of international family law, providing students with a global perspective on family-related legal issues. Through advanced coursework and research, students will develop expertise in navigating the intricate intersections of family law, public policy, and private law. The curriculum is complemented by practical training in legal writing, preparing students to contribute meaningful scholarship and engage in high-level legal advocacy. With a strong emphasis on research, students will complete a dissertation that demonstrates their ability to conduct independent legal research, culminating in a defense of their work. Graduates are well-equipped for leadership roles in family law practice, policy development, and legal reform.
