Prof. Elisabetta Prencipe Joins GIU as Affiliated Professor & PhD Student Advisor
Graham International University (GIU) is pleased to announce the appointment of Prof. Elisabetta Prencipe, an accomplished Italian physicist, as an Affiliated Professor and PhD Student Advisor. With a Ph.D. in Nuclear and Subnuclear Physics from the University of Ferrara, Italy, Prof. Prencipe brings over 20 years of academic and research expertise to the GIU faculty.
Prof. Prencipe has made significant contributions to particle physics, notably through her work on the BaBar, Belle, and Belle II experiments. Her career is marked by prestigious roles, including Principal Investigator, Diversity Officer, and active membership on advisory and publication committees. A dedicated educator, she has supervised numerous undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students while lecturing on mathematics, statistics, and physics.
In addition to her academic achievements, Prof. Prencipe is highly skilled in programming, with proficiency in C++ and Python, and has developed advanced algorithms for particle tracking and data analysis. With over 700 publications to her credit, she is widely recognized for her contributions to high-energy physics and her passion for fostering inclusive research environments.
