Doctor of Education (EdD) in Primary & Secondary Education
Our Doctor of Education (EdD) in Primary & Secondary Education prepares educators to lead and innovate across pre-primary, primary, and secondary educational settings. The program covers foundational topics such as grammar and language learning, phonology, and lesson planning for pre and primary education, alongside advanced pedagogical methods and project-based approaches. Students develop expertise in behavioral management and social-emotional competence, fostering positive learning environments. Through public writing, policy analysis, and legal studies, candidates gain insight into the broader societal and legal contexts influencing education. A comprehensive research sequence guides students from research methods to dissertation defense, enabling them to conduct original research that advances the field. This program equips graduates with the knowledge and leadership skills to design effective curricula, advocate for educational change, and improve teaching and learning across a range of educational levels.
