Doctor of Laws (LLD) in Criminal Law
Our Doctor of Laws (LLD) in Criminal Law offers a comprehensive exploration of criminal law and justice systems, focusing on key areas such as juvenile delinquency, collective violence, and the criminal justice system in the USA. The program delves into specialized topics like juvenile justice law and policy, narcotic drug laws, and comparative criminal procedure, providing students with a global perspective on criminal law. With a strong emphasis on public writing and policy analysis, students will develop the skills to influence legal reforms and address contemporary issues in criminal justice. The program includes a structured research sequence that guides students from research literacy to dissertation defense, allowing them to contribute original scholarship to the field. Graduates of the program are prepared to lead in criminal law practice, policy development, and advocacy, with a deep understanding of both domestic and international legal frameworks.
