Dr. Tak Cheong Larm Honored with Honorary Doctorate in Philosophy of Psychology by GIU

Dr. Larm, a seasoned scholar-practitioner with over four decades of experience in psychology, has distinguished himself through self-directed study and practical engagement in psychological counseling, behavioral therapy, and workplace mental health. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Engineering Management. His areas of expertise span Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, coaching psychology, and simplicity psychology—an emerging field emphasizing clarity and efficiency in psychological processes.

Currently serving as a Building Supervisor cum Workplace Psychology Management Officer in Hong Kong, Dr. Larm integrates psychological insights into the operational management of industrial facilities. His unique role demonstrates how mental wellness, empathetic leadership, and behavioral analysis can enhance safety, communication, and performance in organizational environments.

In addition to his professional commitments, Dr. Larm is a registered member of the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP) and the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF). He is also affiliated with the Institute of Psychological Health and has participated in numerous international psychology workshops and sustainability conferences.

He holds a B.Sc. in Political Science, an M.Sc. in Business Administration, and two honorary doctoral degrees in Business Administration and Education. He was awarded an Honorary Professorship by Graham International University in recognition of his outstanding contributions as a Digital Marketing Manager at The Frankie Graham Jr. Foundation. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in Digital Marketing.
