
Dr. Tassang Tah Muki Thierry Honored with GIU Honorary Professorship
Graham International University (GIU) has conferred the prestigious title of Honorary Professor upon Dr. Tassang Tah Muki Thierry, a renowned Cameroonian medical doctor, educator, entrepreneur, and humanitarian. This distinction recognizes his outstanding contributions to community health, education, and youth empowerment in Cameroon.

Prof. (Hon.) Dr. Thierry, currently the Director of the ST Thierry Higher Institute of Health Sciences and Technology (SHIHSAT), has led a transformative journey in Cameroon’s health and education sectors. Through institutions such as SHIHSAT, the ST Thierry Vocational Training Institute, and the ST Thierry Medical Center, he has provided academic and healthcare access to underserved communities, especially in the conflict-affected North West Region.
A permanent member of the Cameroon Medical Council and an advocate for rural development, Prof. Thierry has spearheaded training in nursing, midwifery, pharmacy, and biomedical sciences, offering over 100 scholarships annually. His academic and professional pursuits span international degrees in medicine, public health, and business administration, complemented by groundbreaking research, including his co-authored publication, “Early Appraisal of Option B+ in Tiko Health District-Cameroon”, published in the International Journal of Scientific Research and Management.
