
GIU Appoints Dr. Paul Jeffrey Borja as Ed.D. & LL.D. Student Advisor
Graham International University (GIU) proudly announces the appointment of Dr. Paul Jeffrey Borja as Student Advisor for its Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) and Doctor of Laws (LL.D.) programs. A highly accomplished Filipino-American academic, Dr. Borja brings a rare combination of interdisciplinary expertise, leadership experience, and academic excellence to this role.
Dr. Borja holds four doctoral degrees: a Doctor of Laws in International Law from GIU, a Doctor of Education, a Doctor of Business Administration, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice. He also earned a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management and a Graduate Certificate in Organizational Leadership, along with multiple certifications in nursing, case management, and process improvement. His educational achievements are matched by his extensive professional record, which spans healthcare administration, legal studies, and higher education.

Currently serving as Director of Care Management at Adventist Health and an adjunct professor at California Coast University, Dr. Borja has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to advancing knowledge, promoting equity in healthcare, and mentoring professionals across disciplines. His leadership roles in national organizations such as the Case Management Society of America and the American Organization for Nursing Leadership reflect his dedication to policy development, professional standards, and academic advancement.
As Student Advisor, Dr. Borja will provide mentorship, academic support, and strategic guidance to doctoral candidates in the Ed.D. and LL.D. programs. His appointment is expected to significantly enhance the academic experience at GIU, particularly by offering students access to real-world insights, cross-disciplinary perspectives, and high standards of scholarship.
