GIU Appoints Dr. Sara El Ashrafy as Affiliated Instructor

Graham International University (GIU) is proud to welcome Dr. Sara El Ashrafy as an Affiliated Instructor. A distinguished Egyptian expert in international relations, diplomacy, and Middle Eastern affairs, Dr. El Ashrafy brings nearly 20 years of experience in academia, journalism, and leadership to her new role.

Dr. El Ashrafy earned her Ph.D. in Peace Building in the Middle East from the University of Münster, Germany, and holds advanced degrees in Media, International Relations, and Journalism from prestigious institutions such as Cairo University and the University of Pennsylvania. Her research focuses on international relations, regional issues in the MENA region, peacebuilding, diplomacy, negotiations, media, and gender studies.

In addition to her academic background, Dr. El Ashrafy has held key roles in journalism and diplomacy, including serving as Deputy Managing Editor and Director at the Middle East News Agency (MENA). She is also the founder of the International Relations, Diplomacy, and Peace Forum, where she has facilitated dialogue and understanding on critical global issues.

As an Affiliated Instructor at GIU, Dr. El Ashrafy will contribute her expertise to empower students with knowledge and insights into international relations and diplomacy. Her addition strengthens GIU’s commitment to delivering world-class education that bridges global perspectives and fosters cultural understanding.
