
GIU Appoints Prof. David E. Immendorf as Affiliated Professor & Ed.D. Student Advisor
Graham International University (GIU) proudly announces the appointment of Prof. David E. Immendorf as Affiliated Professor & Ed.D. Student Advisor. With this role, Prof. Immendorf will also serve as the Director of the GIU School of Education, bringing with him more than three decades of experience in mathematics and physics education.

Prof. Immendorf has dedicated over 30 years to teaching at Reading High School in Pennsylvania, where he has instructed all levels of mathematics and physics. He has developed and implemented innovative curricula, including Advanced Placement Physics, Conceptual Physics, Physics of Astronomy, and accelerated math programs. His leadership capabilities are underscored by his service as department head for both the Mathematics and Science departments.
Prof. Immendorf holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, along with double bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Education and Science. He has consistently expanded his expertise through advanced studies at prestigious institutions such as Harvard University and Lehigh University. His areas of specialization include wave mechanics, cross-curricular integration, and tailored instruction for diverse learners, including those in IEP, GIEP, and ESL programs.
Fluent in English and German and proficient in Spanish and French, Prof. Immendorf is well-positioned to support GIU’s global academic community. His passion for innovation in education and commitment to student success make him a strong asset to the university.
