GIU Awards Honorary Doctorate to Parthiban Subramaniyan
Graham International University (GIU) has conferred the prestigious Honorary Doctor of Philosophy (Hon.Ph.D.) in Health Administration upon Mr. Parthiban Subramaniyan, Founder and Medical Scientist at the Center for Inflammation and Autoimmune Research (CIAR), Trichy.
With over a decade of experience in clinical innovation and autoimmune research, Parthiban Subramaniyan has made significant contributions to the field of health administration and patient-centered care. His pioneering work focuses on reversing complex autoimmune and chronic inflammatory conditions through non-steroidal, immune-modulatory, and lifestyle-based interventions.

Mr. Subramaniyan holds a Master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Trichy, and has completed specialized training in Autoimmune Diseases & Innate Immunity from Imperial College London via Coursera. In recognition of his contributions to medical science, he received the DST Award (2019) from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, for developing a lightweight biocompatible alloy for orthopedic applications.
Through his leadership at CIAR, he has successfully developed intervention-sparing protocols for conditions such as Rheumatoid Arthritis, Vitiligo, and chronic skin inflammation, while promoting affordable diagnostics and immune literacy at the grassroots level. His case-based research has demonstrated the potential of innate immune system reset in reversing localized autoimmune disorders without reliance on long-term steroidal therapy.
By awarding this honorary doctorate, GIU recognizes Mr. Subramaniyan’s outstanding achievements in advancing healthcare innovation, patient care, and his commitment to building an autoimmune-free society.
