GIU Awards Honorary Professorship to Dr. Kok Leong Teng

Graham International University (GIU) proudly announces the conferment of the Honorary Professorship upon Prof. (Hon.) Dr. Kok Leong Teng in recognition of his outstanding contributions to industry leadership and academic advancement in the fields of business administration, project management, and facilities management.

Prof. (Hon.) Kok Leong Teng

With over 25 years of experience spanning the data center, construction, oil & gas, and defense industries, Prof. Teng has consistently demonstrated strategic vision, technical excellence, and transformative leadership. Currently serving as Associate Director at Newtech Technology (South Asia), he oversees operations in Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, driving business growth and innovation across the region. His track record includes managing an S$80 million project portfolio at Vertiv Singapore and executing complex EPC contracts for industry giants such as ABB and Yokogawa.

Prof. Teng holds a Doctor of Business Administration from American Management University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Roehampton, along with a Master Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University. He is also a Certified Agile Leader, Scrum Master, and Chartered Manager, illustrating his commitment to integrating modern methodologies with traditional business acumen.

Bege Mathias

Prof. (Hon.) Bege Mathias is a Digital Marketing Manager and Affiliated Professor at GIU. He holds a B.Sc. in Political Science, an M.Sc. in Business Administration, and two honorary doctoral degrees in Business Administration and Education. He was awarded an Honorary Professorship by Graham International University in recognition of his outstanding contributions as a Digital Marketing Manager at The Frankie Graham Jr. Foundation. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD in Digital Marketing. With extensive digital marketing experience across Nigeria, Canada, the UK, and the US, Prof. Mathias has consistently excelled in organically enhancing the digital visibility of institutions.
