Dr. Barone, who was earlier honored by GIU with an Honorary Doctor of Philosophy (Hon.Ph.D.) in Organizational Leadership, continues to exemplify the university’s ideals of innovation, ethical leadership, and academic excellence. His professional journey spans over 25 years of executive experience, marked by measurable success in optimizing processes, enhancing efficiency, and achieving multimillion-dollar improvements in cost reduction and productivity.

As Senior Director of Operations & Production at Interport Maintenance Co., Inc., Dr. Barone has demonstrated exceptional leadership by implementing lean manufacturing strategies, strengthening supply chain systems, and mentoring emerging leaders toward professional excellence.
An accomplished scholar-practitioner, Dr. Barone holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) and MBA in Business Administration & Management from the European-American University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Information Technology from Canadian Christian University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He also holds multiple professional certifications, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Operational Excellence, and Project Management credentials.
