GIU Announces Dr. Justin Harvey’s Appointment as Affiliated Professor & PhD Advisor

Graham International University (GIU) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Justin Harvey as an Affiliated Professor & PhD Student Advisor, strengthening the university’s global academic network and its commitment to providing high-quality mentorship to doctoral scholars.

Dr. Harvey is an accomplished human resources executive and organizational leader with extensive experience in workforce development, corporate systems management, and performance strategy. He currently serves as Director of Human Resources at Acertara Acoustic Laboratories in Longmont, Colorado, where he oversees recruitment processes, talent acquisition, candidate screening, and HR operational systems. His work focuses on strengthening organizational effectiveness through structured hiring processes and efficient internal systems.

Prior to this role, Dr. Harvey served as Human Resources Manager at Ecosmart Inc. in Culver City, California, where he developed innovative employee training systems and managed the organization’s transition to a new HR and payroll infrastructure. His earlier professional experience also includes leadership roles in customer experience management, quality assurance, and corporate performance analytics within major organizations.

Dr. Harvey holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Gambit Business School, a Master of Human Resources from Universidad Isabel I, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Singapore Management University. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing from the University of Phoenix.

In addition to his professional career, Dr. Harvey contributes to higher education through advisory roles on several academic boards, including the Strategic AI Advisory Board at the University of Colorado Boulder and advisory programs supporting leadership and customer experience education.

At GIU, Dr. Harvey will support doctoral candidates as a PhD Student Advisor, providing mentorship in research development, academic writing, and professional leadership.
