Dr. Verma’s distinguished career spans leadership roles across global organizations, including PMA Canada, Advantage Solutions (Costco Wholesale), and Air Canada, where he demonstrated exceptional skill in strategic management, process optimization, and people-centered leadership. His expertise in supply chain and logistics, strengthened by his Master of Commerce from Punjabi University, India, and a Post-Degree Diploma in Supply Chain and Logistics from Langara College, Vancouver, demonstrates a solid foundation in both academic excellence and practical industry experience.

Beyond his corporate achievements, Dr. Verma has shown remarkable dedication to social impact and youth development. As President of “We the Humans”, a student-led nonprofit organization in India, he led initiatives that provided educational opportunities to underprivileged children. His leadership also extended to civic and humanitarian efforts through the Red Cross Society, Red Ribbon Club, and Anti-Drug Awareness Cell, inspiring community engagement and social responsibility.

In Canada, his commitment to education continued as Co-President of the Langara Management in Motion Club, where he helped over 500 students gain practical leadership and career insights. His philosophy—rooted in Integrity, Empowerment, and Impact—embodies the very values that GIU seeks to honor in its recipients.
