
Dr. Quiana Bradshaw Joins GIU as Faculty Member and Ph.D. Advisor
Graham International University (GIU), a division of The Frankie Graham Jr. Foundation, is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Quiana Bradshaw, DCS, as an Affiliated Professor of Computer Science and Ph.D. Advisor. With more than fifteen years of experience in higher education, instructional design, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, software engineering, and emerging technologies, Dr. Bradshaw brings an exceptional combination of academic excellence, industry expertise, and innovative teaching to the university.
Dr. Bradshaw has dedicated her career to preparing students for success in an increasingly digital world by integrating practical, research-based learning with emerging technologies. Her educational philosophy emphasizes innovative teaching strategies, student-centered instruction, and technology-enhanced learning environments that empower students to think critically, solve complex problems, and develop professional competencies for today’s global workforce. She is committed to creating collaborative learning environments that accommodate diverse learning styles while preparing graduates to become leaders in technology and research.
Dr. Bradshaw earned a Doctor of Computer Science in Emerging Media from Colorado Technical University, along with a Master of Science in Information Technology, a Master of Science in Higher Education – College Administration & Leadership, an MBA in Executive & Health Care Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. She has further strengthened her expertise through numerous professional certifications, including Google’s Professional Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and Data Analytics Certificates, the University of Pennsylvania Wharton AI Strategy and Governance Certificate, and Purdue University Global micro-credentials in Artificial Intelligence and Social Media Law.
Throughout her distinguished academic career, Dr. Bradshaw has served in leadership and faculty positions at several respected universities. She currently serves as Academic Program Director for Emerging Technology at Columbia Southern University, where she oversees curriculum development, faculty leadership, program assessment, and strategic academic planning. Previously, she served as Lead Professor of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at Campbellsville University and has taught at Judson University, Thomas University, Purdue University Global, Southern New Hampshire University, University of the Cumberlands, Florida State College, Colorado Technical University, and numerous other institutions.
Her teaching portfolio includes graduate and doctoral courses in Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Advanced Programming Languages, Information Systems Security, Cloud Computing, Database Systems, Computer Programming, Information Technology Management, Game Development, Data Science, Cybersecurity, and Emerging Technologies. In addition to classroom instruction, she has authored and developed numerous university courses, served on dissertation committees, and provided extensive mentoring to doctoral students.
As a Ph.D. Advisor at Graham International University, Dr. Bradshaw will mentor doctoral candidates throughout the research process, helping students develop rigorous research methodologies, produce high-quality dissertations, and contribute meaningful scholarship within computer science, artificial intelligence, information technology, and related disciplines. Her extensive experience reviewing dissertations and serving on doctoral committees uniquely positions her to guide future researchers toward academic and professional excellence.
Dr. Bradshaw is also an accomplished researcher and published scholar whose work spans artificial intelligence, educational technology, digital game-based learning, cybersecurity, virtual learning environments, and emerging media. She has published books, conference papers, peer-reviewed journal articles, and IEEE conference proceedings while presenting her research at numerous international conferences focused on AI, educational innovation, cybersecurity, and technology-enhanced learning. She is an active member of professional organizations, including the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), InfraGard, Google Women Techmakers, the International Game Developers Association, and several technology leadership organizations.
