
GIU Appoints Dr. Francis Pol Lim as Affiliated Professor & Doctoral Student Advisor
Graham International University (GIU) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Francis Pol Lim as Affiliated Professor and Student Advisor for the University’s Doctor of Public Administration (D.P.A.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programs.
Dr. Lim is a distinguished Filipino academic, researcher, educator, and public servant whose career spans higher education, public administration, business, finance, environmental planning, and research. With extensive experience in academic leadership and international education, he currently serves as Vice President for Academics at American Management University in Paris, France, where he oversees academic quality, innovation, curriculum development, and institutional effectiveness.
Throughout his career, Dr. Lim has held teaching, research, and leadership positions with universities and educational institutions across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean. He has supervised graduate and doctoral students, developed academic programs, led quality assurance initiatives, and contributed significantly to research and scholarly publishing. His extensive portfolio of peer-reviewed publications reflects expertise in business, technology, public administration, finance, sustainability, and educational innovation.
In addition to his academic accomplishments, Dr. Lim serves as a Revenue Officer with the Bureau of Internal Revenue in the Philippines, bringing valuable practical experience in public administration, governance, taxation, and public service.
As an Affiliated Professor and Student Advisor at GIU, Dr. Lim will provide academic mentorship, dissertation guidance, and research supervision to doctoral candidates, helping students achieve excellence in scholarship and professional practice. His appointment further strengthens GIU’s commitment to global academic collaboration and the development of high-quality doctoral education.
